This extensive experience, and our narrow area of focus, makes us better able to help you choose the ideal trip and accommodations.  Some properties are great for small children, some better for adults only, we know which ones are right for your families needs.   Why do these packages have age, marriage, income, and other qualification requirements?

 These qualifications are set forth by the resort, not Squirrel Travel, and are designed to target a select demographic for a potential investment in vacation ownership options. Squirrel Travel is obligated by contracts with the resorts to adhere to these qualifications, otherwise, the resort/hotel bills Squirrel Travel the full regular cost of the vacation package.
 

   Are all travel dates available?

  Choose your OWN dates of travel!  Your travel package has NO blackout dates. Some travel periods are more requested than others and dates do sell out from time to time. As with any travel you may reserve, it is wise to request as far in advance as possible when requesting travel dates, particularly at peak or holiday periods. All reservations are subject to availability.  If your travel dates are not available you will receive a full refund.

   I want to make a reservation, what's the procedure and what happens next? 

1. Choose the package which best suits your needs, book directly or call us toll free at 800-590-6943 to check availability before you purchase if you are concerned. 

2. Please use any major credit card to make your payment using the "Pay Now" link, or call us to make payment. We prefer the secured on line site Paypal® for your added security.

3. We will send you a link through the eBay message system to the reservation form. You may place your reservation right after purchasing your package, your check in date should be a minimum of 3 business days after the date you place your reservation. The more notice you can give, the easier it is to book your dates. If your preferred dates have become unavailable before you are confirmed, you may choose to either:

4. We will e-mail back your Hotel/Resort confirmation, travel agreement, map and directions, usually within 3 business days. We will also mail to the postal address provided the same information. This confirmation must be presented to the resort check in at the start of the vacation. To assure everything is accurate and to provide top level service, you will be required to sign our travel agreement that everything is correct and return it electronically or in the SASE provided. You are not confirmed until you have received your confirmation letter from Squirrel Travel and returned your travel agreement.

   Why does it take a minimum of three full business days to setup a reservation request?

    Due to the nature of these promotions, reservations take extra processing. Due to security reasons and technological limitations, the resorts and hotels are not able to give us direct access to their reservation computer databases. Therefore all communications and reservation requests are processed via email and by hand. All requests must be reviewed for accuracy, errors corrected, and qualifications verified. In the event there are errors on your form, or if you fail to provide all the requested information, then your reservation request will be delayed. Please refrain from calling or emailing our office inquiring about the status of your reservation request until a full minimum of three business days has passed.

   How do I schedule/reschedule my tour date/time?

   We do not schedule/reschedule tour times. These times/dates are set forth by the resort. We have no control over tour times. The resorts will not schedule your tour the day of your arrival or departure.

   How long is the Timeshare Sales Presentation?

The standard Timeshare Sales Presentation runs about approximately 90 to 120 minutes after the meal.  You will be on tour 2-3 hours. For guests interested in Ownership, the tour may take as long as necessary to address your questions, and complete all appropriate paperwork.  Please do not make plans for early morning activities on the morning of your tour.

  Tell me more about Tour & Sales Presentation?

Your tour will be booked for you at the resort. Please note, it is very important that you attend the tour, it's the reason you received such a great vacation package price. Failure to attend the tour will result in non-discounted rate being charged for your accommodations.  During an approximately 90 to 120 minute tour & sales presentation, you will discover all of the many benefits of vacation ownership plans. You are under absolutely no obligation to purchase anything!

   Do I have to bring of my income tax return or a pay stub to prove my income?

At the moment of the reservation your individual or combined annual income will be asked as a way to qualify you for this offer. At the tour you will be asked the same question.

   Can I bring my children to the tour?

   If you are traveling with children you can take them with you to the tour.

   Can I purchase more nights?

   Yes. We have packages with more nights and/or also you can buy additional nights from us. We'll send you a invoice for the difference. Please contact us for any rates and availability.

   Can I buy more than 1 package or room?
   These promotions are not available for groups. We must follow the resorts restrictions, Squirrel Travel is obligated by contracts with the resorts to adhere to these qualifications, otherwise, the resort/hotel bills Squirrel Travel the full regular cost of the vacation package. If you need more rooms we have other options to accommodate all your family or friends with an excellent price.  

   What if I need to change my travel dates?
   All vacation packages offered by Squirrel Travel can be rescheduled free up to 15 days prior to your scheduled arrival. If for any reason you cannot use this package on the original travel dates,  and do not have new travel dates, you will be refunded your payment.

   What happens if I need to cancel?

Cancellation is always an option for our customers.  You may cancel at any time until 72 hours before your scheduled arrival date to receive a full refund! Or reschedule, and use your vacation at any other time within 12 months of the purchase date.  We allow one free reschedule per customer; all other reschedules may be subject to a convenience charge. 

Reschedule/Change Dates Policy

  Reschedules and cancellations MUST be requested by emailing reservations@squirrel-travel.com  with your name and confirmation number (if applicable) before being completed. We will make ONE modification (including name changes) of a confirmed reservation done outside 72 Hours from arrival date for you for free; any additional date changes require a $20 scheduling fee paid to Squirrel Travel Date changes requested for a date later than December,18 2009 are not available and will not be confirmed. All reservation request are subject to resort availability and confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

  Cancellation: Any cancellation of a confirmed reservation done outside 72 hours from arrival date you will receive a FULL refund. If a confirmed booking is cancelled, within 72 hours of the arrival date you will be charged an amount equal the first nights regular non-discounted rate.

Failure to re-schedule or cancel prior to check in
 

Failure to cancel or re-schedule prior to check in will result in the forfeiture of your package and you will not be refunded any money that you paid for your package. This means that if you fail to check in at your resort, or email us before your check in date to notify us of your need to cancel will result in the loss of your reservation, and any money paid for the package.

 Additional Charges

Squirrel Travel will email the resort confirmation to you within 3 business days of receiving your reservation information. You will NOT be charged sales tax.  Resort Taxes are NOT due at check-in. Price is NOT per person or per night. Standard room deposits are also the responsibility of the guest, and are due at check-in. You will be required to present a credit card deposit ($500.00) on your room to cover long distance phone calls, pay-per-view, and other miscellaneous room charges.

Terms & Conditions

Our promotional packages come with certain qualifications & requirements that have to be met by every one of our customers. There are no exceptions to the policies. So to avoid confusion and the possibility of our customers not being fully aware or our policies, we do require every customer to sign an agreement prior to travel as proof of completely understanding the agreement of the qualifications, terms & conditions.

You agree that you and your spouse or significant other, will attend an approximately 120 minute sales presentation during your trip, which includes an explanation of the benefits of vacation ownership. No one is excluded from the tour: however, to be eligible for our promotional vacation offers, you must meet all of the terms including the age, income, marital & all other qualifications including the group travel policies that are associated with the promotional vacation offer you are booking. You understand there is absolutely no obligation to buy. Failure to attend or qualify for the approximately 120 minute sales presentation during your trip will result in your credit card being charged the non-discounted rate for the entire amount of lodging. Non-discounted retail rate means the normal nightly rate charged by the resort or hotel. All vacation packages require a credit card be on file with our office.

By booking a vacation with Squirrel Travel, you are hereby agreeing to our refund & cancellation policy, and giving Squirrel Travel your understood and uncontestable approval to all of the above terms & conditions, including your agreeing to attend the sales presentation during your trip, and to charge your credit card or checking account that we have on file for any charges that may become due to your breach of any of the above terms & conditions. These charges may become due after your trip or after your initial purchase date under the following circumstances:

• You fail to take the resort tour during your trip. This includes your spouse or significant other not attending the tour.
• The resort notifies us that you do not meet the age, income & marital status qualifications at the tour. This will not happen unless you told us you do meet them, but tell the resort that you do not meet them.
• You do not show up to check in or e-mail us to re-schedule before your scheduled check in date.
• The resort notifies us that you are traveling with another family or group of families at the same time at the same resort, where more than 1 family in your group is also staying at the resort in a separate unit on a promotional package booked with us.

If any of the above circumstances occur, you will be charged the applicable fee's as they are outlined in the terms section of this page. By booking a vacation with Squirrel Travel, you are hereby agreeing to be charged according to the above terms & conditions, even after your trip if necessary, and you are giving Squirrel Travel your understood and uncontestable approval to charge you accordingly.
